PEF Israel is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, not a private foundation. Our tax ID number is 13-6104086. We believe in maximizing the effectiveness of our grant-allocating process, and to better understand our function and mission in Israel, our trustees make site visits to the country. We do not make any administrative deductions from contributions, and our overhead is approximately 2% of grants, which is covered by an administrative charge on endowed funds and special contributions.

HOW TO DONATE

We do not maintain or engage in any fundraising organization. All contributions must be made in US dollars and payable to "PEF Israel Endowment Funds, Inc." Contributions of a minimum of $25 are accepted. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card donations.

If you wish to recommend a registered charity, please include the charity's full name and its 9-digit Israeli Tax ID number ("amutah number") in an attached note. You can find the list of registered charities and their ID numbers on our website.
